About Masjid Al-Noor
Masjid Al-Noor is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Islamic center dedicated to serving the Muslim community of Wilkes-Barre and the surrounding areas. As a house of worship and a community hub, we strive to foster an environment of spiritual growth, education, and social unity. Rooted in the principles of the Qur’an and Sunnah, Masjid Al-Noor is committed to upholding Islamic values while providing a welcoming space for individuals and families to connect, learn, and serve.
Our Mission
Our mission is to establish a strong foundation for faith, knowledge, and service by:

Our Full-Time Islamic School
Masjid Al-Noor is proud to host a full-time Islamic school, dedicated to providing students with both academic excellence and a strong Islamic foundation. Our school integrates core subjects such as mathematics, science, and language arts with Islamic studies, Qur’an memorization, and Arabic language instruction. We aim to nurture well-rounded individuals who embody the values of Islam while excelling in their education and character.
Through our Islamic school and community programs, we are committed to raising future generations with a strong faith, a love for learning, and a deep sense of responsibility toward their families, communities, and the world.
